Full description and specifications

Camellia is a wonderful plant that delights us with its incredible flowers. The plant grows in the form of a shrub and is suitable both for the interior of homes and for terraces or gardens. It blooms profusely for 4-6 months a year (depending on care and microclimate).
In Asia, Camellia is of particular importance, being popularly called the "tea plant" and considered a symbol of the samurai.

CAMELIA JAPONICA CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Plant development: Shrub, with a maximum height of 1.5 - 2 m
Placement: Camellia needs a lot of light but does not tolerate direct sunlight throughout the day. It is recommended to place it in cool, partially shaded but bright spaces, with constant humidity. In the climatic conditions of Romania, the plant withstands very well outside - provided it is planted in the garden, in a more protected place. It does NOT tolerate large temperature differences well (moved inside-outside, from hot to cold or vice versa)!

Soil: it prefers slightly acidic soil, but it also grows well in neutral soil - in the garden, this aspect can be improved by administering some sulfur supplements.
Propagation: By cuttings.
It can withstand temperatures of -18 degrees Celsius.
Height with pots included: approx. 30-35 cm

In the case of deliveries by courier, it is possible that the cardboard packaging is not included in the package, the priority being fixing the plant properly in the box.

Although the variety withstands up to -18°C, it is not recommended to expose young specimens to temperatures lower than -5°C.
