Originally from South Africa and Mozambique, Ceropegia Sandersonii stands out for the incredible appearance of its flowers, but also for the way it uses flies for pollination. Flies (especially those from the Desmometopa family) are attracted to Ceropegia flowers due to a mixture of chemicals, and then they are immobilized by the perisoria inside the flower and covered with pollen. A day later, the Ceropegia Sandersonii flower withers, releasing the fly that will later enter another flower, producing pollination.
Caring for this plant is quite easy. The plant can be placed in a bright room or on the balcony and requires little water. This plant is perfect for anyone who wants a special plant at home!
